The OBD2 readouts I get suggest that not only my cold air inlet mods work, with IAT typically within 1°C of ambient, but the MAF benefits as well, further aided by a slab K&N filter, with high max readings (215 grm/sec) well above that calculated.

It’s good fun to check the quality/cal of the intake temp sensor at rest. Mine is way off. Below is what my ECU was recording at lunchtime today compared to a thermocouple stuffed in the intake (with the car sat in a cold garage, with only the ignition on and hasn’t been started for a few days).

I did recalibrate my sensor in my previous car.

9C and 13C.
