Another advantage of the SSL RS kit I've had for some time, is that a fair amount of tension can be I unwound out of main spring allowing hand removal and replacement without tears once rebound spring released. This despite being a little tedious having to wind back tension later. Helps with fitting the rebound spring gaiters as well.

Still waiting for paint to dry/harden on chunky brake mounts. Had hoped to use Cain's trick aluminium ones but it appears they are for 5 stud hubs only, which support discs c. 8mm further outboard. Don't ask how I know this swear
