Day off yesterday so spend most of it in the workshop.

Machined up a pair of kingpins for my 1933 JAP Super Sports, machining the top collars from an old 4 wheeler King pin.

Went to braze them up and then ran out of acetylene

Made up a rear wheel spindle for the same car out of better spec steel (EN19T), old one was worn and bent into an 's' shape

Made up a rear spindle nut in stainless for the three wheeler and silver soldered the oil seal carrier/rear wheel spacer back together

Got a phone call from my pal to say the chassis was ready for collection so drove up to Leyland in Lancashire to pick it up , just about fitted in my Golf estate.

Came back, tidied up the workshop ready for Plus 4 coming back from trimmers on Sunday, cleaned and oiled the lathe and vertical mill.

Set a few jobs up for Saturday then locked up!
