Service went well all the brake pads were removed to de-glaze, rear drums removed and cylinders checked. I had bought online a coil cover which was supposed to fit but didn't, needed some work to make it fit, now fitted. The shot AVO's were replaced with new Wolf shockers, these are about half the weight Aluminium cases. Transformed the ride, no bottoming out any more, smoothed the road out. Ride home was nightmare on the M11 static and very slow from J9 right through to J8 1 1/2 hours HGV with split tank lane 1 covered in diesel and only HATO's on scene with not a clue how to deal.
What is a coil cover?
Surprised how your 2013 car seems to eat shockers. Don’t think AVOs were OEM, so it must now be on its third set… High mileage, live up a farm track, or maybe the wrong spec. AVOs were fitted last time?
