Sospan it's not that easy, As John said a large-ish patch is needed to be repaired for it to be successful using silicone and the close proximity of the spokes sort of prohibits this, couple that with it being a specialised product and it'll end up costing more in time and dosh before you eventually get it sorted properly. If you have a spare just courier it to MWS rapped in good cardboard, It'll be returned all beautiful in an MWS box. Many Mog's don't have a spare these days, It's coming up to the bad weather so I'd just rely on the recovery option if the worst happened!
