Is that new as in the ‘Plus’ range cars? I purchased mine in May last year and the documentation definitely states 12 months warranty. Frankly, this is unacceptable for any new vehicle in this day and age, particularly if the quality is not as it should be. That being said, it didn’t stop me buying one as it was the fulfilment of a long held dream, albeit I wasn’t fully aware of the short warranty until after purchase. Caveat emptor I suppose!
I bought mine in 2020 and it has a 30 month warranty, extended because of the recall. I thought that was short to be honest as new cars seem to enjoy 36 months. I would check it with your dealer. Morgan do seem to get away with a lot because owing one is often a “lifelong dream”.
The only reference I have in all the documentation in my possession relating to the warranty is on page 56 of the CX PlusFour owners manual which states 12 months or 12000 miles. I have no other documentation relating to the warranty. I will call my dealer tomorrow.
