That gull looks like a particularly vicious type called the Nimby Gull. Closely related to the Shitehawk.
Known to be very protective about it’s locality, often using bullying, theft (particularly chips and ice cream) to intimidate people they don’t like. They hate cars, as often seen by their “bombing” results. They have a noisy cry sounding similar to “p**s off ...cackle cackle cackle”.
In times past they mated with crows to create a hybrid called Magpie.
Some in my area have a liking for pears, particularly on my tree. Barstewards, the lot of them.
