And if you want a good value convenient hotel walking distance from the Tapestry with good parking try the Novotel at the island junction of Rue Saint-Patrice. I have stayed there several times when visiting the Tapestry, D Day beaches and on the way back from Le Mans.

The walk in to town passes many good bars and restaurants or is a very short taxi ride.

Wonderful place to visit with lots in local area.
