Sadly no Morganing here for a while yet. The temperature did poke its nose above freezing over the weekend, for the first time since well before Christmas, but that just meant that the gutters were running during the day with meltwater off the snowplough's windrows before re-freezing overnight. Roads are now both very salty and very slippery - fine for a tintop with winter boots, but not a happy combination for all-season-shod Mogs.

I'm just glad that cars don't suffer the effects of windchill: the Polar Vortex thingy we've just got rid of put the still-air temps down in the high 20s below zero just after New Year, with wind chill near -40. Brrr.
