There was a hit and run at the bottom of College Way 200 mtrs clear of the college entrance at 0040 this morning and the pedestrian was left in the road and died whilst the Emergency services attended to him on site, he was 27 it is not known if he is local or not. Apparently there is some of the damaged vehicle in the impact area I just hope enough to gain a prosecution and lock the scum away.

It could well transpire that the victim is a foreign national under training at the college, they that come from areas denied alcohol have been known to do odd things in the past, never the less a very sad thing.
