Mercedes are famously ruthless in their dealings with replica builders. Normally any new producer will be raided and all molds & tooling destroyed before they have a chance to go into production. Therefore, your 190SL was almost certainly the real deal. See HERE for an example.


Thanks Andy. It was oncoming traffic so cannot claim to have got a good look at it, but my impression was that it was authentic.
