A dry & windy day around these parts today after the snowmelt, so I dug the Brookie out for a warm up amble. The weather changes so sharply at times, and I went through sunshine and warmth into cloudy, overcast and heavy cloud just at the time I'd climbed up a little into the snowy verge territory, but despite missing a wave from an oncoming TVR (sorry, fella..) it was a nice half hours drive.

Had to negotiate all the local hunt hangers-on, who feel they have a right to stop wherever they see a sight of someone on horseback over the fields, but a couple of straights meant that sports exhaust got warmed up too..

Marvellous.

Car nicely back in the garage and cuppa in hand now..and still smiling..
