It's chilly again here today (-10 with a windchill of -17 on the morning commute) but we had some lovely sunshine over the weekend, temperatures a good half dozen degrees the right side of zero and, with the much of the winter's snow melted except for the banks where the ploughs have piled it, it was time for a Sunday afternoon shake-down run.

I had the perfect excuse - the children wanted to get their bikes out of the garage, where they over-winter within scratching range of the Mog, so "I'll just get it out of the garage so it's not in the way" became a half-day of spanner checks, fluid checks, lubrication checks, tyre pressure checks, and a quick test drive taking the long way round to deliver middle child to a playdate.

Amazing how a journey half a mile or so down the road adds a good ten miles to the odometer, isn't it? smile
