Three blocks from the garage to have an exhaust bracket welded at a local panel beater. This is the steel strap from the chassis to the "hanger" in front of the muffler. Second time it's broken but the cause is the same i.e. the driveway into the garage needs to be crossed at a 45 degree angle or the muffler hits. Someone had parked so that I couldn't cross at the correct angle and the muffler scraped.

Never mind, it's fixed and the next drive in the old dear will be the big one: Vienna to Le Mans Classic via the Klausenpass. We set out Monday morning. Will try to post en-route.
