Well that photo certainly brought a tear to my eyes. My dad and his brothers were big Riley fans, we had Merlins, Kestrels, Monacos, Riley 9's. As kids we wanted a new car and when he bought a Morris 1000 we thought we had arrived!!
I wish we still had the Riley's, pre selector gearboxes and a very characteristic engine whine, I believe from the OHC. Happy Days.
