John - yes I suspect a diesel spill too - it was 30 yards from roundabout and only 3/4 throttle (ie not really pressing it). Tyres maybe 5,000 miles old - fitted in Jan, loads of tread left.

And d'ya know, my life DIDN'T flash before me - I just thought "oh, this is going to hurt" - and then it didn't, so I'm really happy about that.

I've only just picked this up....so sorry but relieved that only Henrietta is hurt, not you.

With newish rubber it can only be diesel...just think what would have happened if you'd been on a bike!

Another vote for Dunlops here, but I also thin Wiltshire Avons are good in the wet...as long as they are not bald. (Ask my son)
