There is nothing wrong with the SLK.
It is a bit tail heavy, due to the folding metal roof but unless you want to compete in it that is unimportant.

I had a 280, with the 3L V6 and it was quick. The ride is a bit harsh at times, but far more refined than a trad Mog and the steering is a bit dull. But a nice roadster for all that.

There are a number of AMG 55 ones with the big AMG naturally aspirated V8... they have a better weight distribution due to the big V8, but do eat rear tires...
