We were in Sidmouth/Budleigh/Exmouth at the weekend, but departed before the rain arrived. Hereabouts in the New Forest the rain has been somewhat biblical today. The fungi love it, I spotted this rather splendid "Chicken of the Woods" (type of bracket fungs) on an old oak locally. Reminds me of Craig's car (in a nice way !).

It keeps threatening but we still haven't had any to talk about.

Fascinating picture, they always intrigue me - there is a huge dark brown one on a tree in Paignton Zoo, I'll take a picture of it next visit when the youngsters are down later on in the month.

I can see Craig's sand colour in your picture too.
