Collected new car this morning from KH, followed by 140 mile trip up to Doncaster this afternoon to attend family event tomorrow. Steep learning curve with steering and transmission but it gets better the faster you go.

Thankfully little traffic on mixed roads provided good initiation and modest journey time. Even the luggage stayed put courtesy of cheapo bungy octopus although looking forward to leather suitcase with straps and cover to follow






Can't thank Dan Whiting enough for extra work he arranged FOC on dashboard. Hate chrome especially in the cockpit. He not only arranged for main instrument bezels to be removed, shotbblasted and powder coated matt black, but included clock and switch surrounds as well. Also fitted a Sony radio and the Phoenix/John Taylor mirrors I supplied



Great improvement IMO, need to do something with that awful standard rear view mirror though - I was warned
