With an assorted group of Morganeers led by Mike Plumber Smith we made a long weekend foray into Brittany driving some 600 plus miles.
Whilst most were LogMog & OxMog members we as AngleMog members had the honour of the longest drive to Portsmouth from Felixstowe ( I don't count Chris & Anna as they were in their Jag going back to Sweden).

Naturally after months of dry weather in Suffolk it rained on the Thursday so the hood was up.for the joy of the A14,A12, M25, A3 & M27. We made the run in 3 hrs despite heavy rain all the way & arrived just before 17:30 as per orders to meet Mike & no onelse.

The "locals" had major problems with accidents on the M27 & A34. After an anxious wait we all boarded for a night passage in a roughish sea.

The weather got better on the Friday & stayed sunny & warm. Great fun was had over the weekend & our base near Dinan at the old port was superb. We kept meeting various French classic car rallies on our trips out as well which was a bonus.

We took the day boat back on the Monday arriving home just before 22:00 after another easy trip with no delays. The cruise control again proving helpful on the long A road & motorway runs.
