Did you manage to persuade swmbo to accompany you in the Mog on the trip down ? Or did she make other arrangements ?

Our trip down last year was brilliant. Route National all the way including the Route Napoléon, and we stayed at some fabulous hostelries on the way there and back. The Gorge de Verdon was also a worthwhile detour.

If you're still down there, I can highly recommend the "Le Clos Saint Pierre" restaurant in Rouret near Opio.
