Lovely trip over Dartmoor, we pulled into a car park just above Widecombe and drinking in the scenery and looking at the ponies when a Honda plastic 4x4 reverses in off the road pauses for a couple of minutes and then takes off like a scalded cat over a 2' rock on the way out with his rear nearside wheel. This wrenches the driveshaft handbrake cable and hub away from the vehicle at about 30 degrees, he pauses and I go to offer him my phone and the old boy jumps in and drove down the road for 50 yards or so making a massive grinding noise. He stops eventually and phones for assistance, quite some display my wife couldn't believe her eyes she thought he was going to turn it over.
