Good luck with the quest for those horses. Others here will shoot me down, but If you go the classic air intake/filter/exhaust route you can spend money on a Sigma car to very little effect. Because this doesn't address the weak link in the standard set-up.

What you have is half a Yamaha-designed race engine, with a designed-to-the-lowest-cost Ford induction system. It's why throwing away the plastic inlet plenum and sticking on throttle-bodies works so well on these little engines.

...Then it's time to look at getting in more cold air and getting the exhaust out (manifold, sports cat, shorter resonator/sports exhaust/side exit etc)
