Well the collection of enterprises that I insist on calling "British Rail" coordinated their activities so my Salisbury / Bristol TM / Cheltenham / Malvern Link service worked like a charmm, arriving bang on time.

A short walk to the factory, a long chat with Mark Leddington who told me that he will have me in a M3W if it is the last thing he does, or words to that effect. Not quite sure how to take that... tongue2

I then ambled ambled over to Mark Evans to collect the immaculate Tarka.

New discs, new pads and a new ATF/Water heat exchanger. This was, it seems, weeping. Full marks for attention to detail. They also touched up the paint chip on the wing and left me with some touch up paint. This is in 3 pots: colour, hardner and clear coat. Wierd, I guess the paint is resin that has to be "set".

To my return.
What can I say, the car is perfect, the brakes have a feel and bite they never had before.
Never before has the 99 miles from the factory to home seemed so sublime.

I'm happy. joy
