Yes, a great drive to and from Brooklands today for us too. I like the dispersed parking for us this year, especially as we were right outside the old pit workshops.
The new aircraft factory museum was indeed excellent and I hope to entice the grandchildren along on another visit as the interactive displays were very good indeed. The Welington display was awe inspiring and having stood right next to the fuselage, it was difficult to imagine what the bomb aimer must have felt in the horizontal space allocated for his purpose or indeed any of the other crew in the tight spaces allocated them, particular the gunners. Humbling.
