Journey in beautiful sunshine to/from Krazy Horse. New steering gaiters fitted under warranty held on by proper metal clips this time. Met an M3W club member there who was taking advantage of MMC invitation to have his early 5 speeder checked out. Not too much of a surprise to find it had a hairline crack on chassis near front suspension! This despite factory brace having been previously fitted. Fortunately with a friend who was able to give him lift home. Also fortunate he still has an ARP4 to play with.

My idea of a change of route for return turned out to be a bad one. The Bury to Thetford road had just been re-surfaced leaving vehicles to bed the grit in. Guess motor rollers are a thing of the past although there are plenty of restored steam ones who's owners would welcome a little income - call it age and rose tinted spectacles wink Dust everywhere despite low speeds then queues at two sets of temporary lights which seem to pop up ever more frequently, especially this time of the year.
