Spent a couple of nights at Buckland Manor in the Cotswolds and have driven a couple of hundred mile touring the area and over in the Forest of Dean. Some great driving top down and not too crowded. The hotel was excellent and the Morgan much admired by other guests including a chap from Chicago who seemed a bit of an anglophile.

Didn't see any other Morgans whilst driving in the Cotswolds or the Forest but MGs seemed out in force and we got several friendly waves. Also met a group of four in a pub (I was there for an orange juice of course) who were drving a beautiful vintage tourer which looked much like a twenties Vauxhall. It was in fact a Canadian built motor with a name a bit like Darrant, sorry but the Orange juice affected my medium term memory so not very confident on the name.

Coming home today visited Batsford Arboretum which was superb in the warm sunshine. On return to the car park saw a very well presented beige plus4 with tan upholstery (MX12 FDE). Drove home along the beautifully uncrowded Fosse Way and saw coming the other way a red trad south of Brinklow and just north a dark green trad. Friendly Morgan waves from both.

A smashing couple of days. The sunshine has some power now so I'm looking a bit like a brandy ball.
