Through the British Horse Society, we know that additional reasons include the need to care for a horse in DIY livery.

Paul,

thanks for supporting my argument that it is reasonable to drive to a DIY Livery yard. We make 2 return trips a day, in the morning to turn out, muck out and chill out in the tranquility of the countryside. Then in the evening I go and poo pick the field, bring him in, feed him and repeat the chill out time.
Without those two trips we would both find being confined to the home harder.

It is our 43 wedding anniversary tomorrow, we would normally go out somewhere special for supper, but sadly we have to stay in and cook. Here's to the 44th, next year!
