Glorious day here in South Wiltshire!

The boss and I went topless to the pub for a pre-luncheon noggin. The locals took it well and we got the usual amount of attention. ooo

After lunch the sun was STILL bright and warm so I washed and dried Aldermog, then went over it with a quick detail spray: how loverly she looks in the sun.
I noticed a couple of stone chips on the front of the rear mudguards... a "nearly black" car with grey undercoat makes chips a bit obvious.
I also noticed on the rear pannel above the number plate there are aome scratches that look as though the car was washed with a gritty cloth at some point. So it looks as if a little work will be needed soon...

Sitting, admiring Aldermog (why do I never tire of that?) I realised the exhaust ends were filthy: hot water, detergent, then white spirit finally got all the dirt and tar off. I found the Autosol and started polishing. They now look perfect and unlike Dave, who sprayed the perforated metal black I'm going to polish it... I know, nerd

Then I polished the Monza fuel cap and realised the rubber seal on the main cap has perished...yes, I polished both inside and outside. So another little "to do"!

I have a feeling that over the summer I'll be spending more time than is good for me doing this sort of detailing. One insane thought arrived in my ever dememnted brain: if I had a lift I could get underneath and poish all the exhaust system, it is stainless.
Do I need help?
Do I want help?
Is this normal, even if you name isn't Dave or Graham?
