Never been to Felixstowe before despite spending many many holidays and weekends on the Suffolk coast in Southwold, Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Dunwich, and Orford. Lovely place! 240 miles. Tell me if I'm out of order here, but I'd like to draw the attention of any TMers who appreciate Southwold to a petition to stop Waveney District Council going back on a previous agreement about the running of Southwold Harbour, (which was to be a trust representing all local interested parties), to the District Council grabbing control to do with it as they wish. There are real concerns (which I share) that the charming and unique nature of Southwold harbour is seriously under threat.
