It was a stunning day here today but due to family commitments I was only able to escape after 15:30.

I finished up doing a circuit of the lake shore and the next valley, a nice run of 60 km. But it didn't all go as I had planned.

I captured a few stills from the dashcam video. Sorry about the quality, I have the video running at a relatively low resolution then I also reduce the image size.



Slow Sunday drivers, at times doing 40 kph for absolutely no reason banghead



Anyway it let me get some footage of the view.



Oh oh! The pass (1173m)is closed. I should have been carrying chains too but I had left them in the garage.



Oh well, back down the other way





Suddenly stop start traffic after the first of two intersections with the roads leading to the ski fields.



Back to the lake again
