Out and about in the New Forest today. Enjoying the late Spring sunshine on the roads less travelled. We stopped for a photo op at St. Leonard's Barn, on the site of a C12 abbey. What remains are the ruins of a huge C14 barn with C16 barn built inside it. According to Natural England, the original barn was probably the largest in Britain at the time, being some 70m long by 33m wide. Just 10 minutes down the road from Beaulieu, where the Spring Autojumble is in full swing today.
