Nope. Got all excited when the temperature crawled above zero two days ago, but it flattered only to deceive. A dump of snow on Tuesday, followed by ice pellets and freezing rain, immediately preceded a drop in the mercury to -17 or so again yesterday evening. It did make a very pretty smooth and shiny coating on the snow banks - this picture was taken as I walked to the corner store for a loaf of bread last night. But the roads are still in decidedly un-Morgan-friendly condition.

The forecast has a balmy 5 degrees (Yay! No minus sign!) on the cards for next week, so perhaps it'll start to melt soon...
