Gorgeous here in Suffolk today too. As a volunteer for the NT at Sutton Hoo the trust laid on a "thank you for your help in 2021 tour of Orford Ness" that is also a NT site. The site has been an MOD development centre from WWI till the 80s & now hosts great wildlife plus some creepy old falling down buildings. As you can only get there by boat & that boat takes 12 people it is pretty empty.

Graham & Rich would love it for the development of radar, over the horizon radar, radio beacons (that led to DECCA) & friend or foe identification plus rocket , bomb & other ordnance testing.

The early morning drive across Tunstall forrest was lovely as was the return drive.
