I live about 15 miles from Bury but managed to cover 50 before I parked up at their showrooms.
Enjoyed a great bacon baguette and a cup of hot chocolate before starting the trip home. I picked up my favourite back road route but on reaching the village of Norton decided to turn left instead of right just to drive the fantastic roads up to Thetford. The idea was to turn around at Thetford and drive back just for the fun of it but when I reached the end of the road I decided to turn right on the the old A1066 and head for Diss. Another fine drivers road, lots of room for overtakes and beautiful countryside.
After Diss I had to join the nightmare that is the A140 so decided to drop off and head for the lovely old market town of Eye and follow the winding country lanes down to Debenham before finally heading for home. Fabulous drive evoking the nostalgic driving before Satnavs were invented, some fast driving through beautiful countryside with lunch thrown in at Krazyhorse surrounded by some amazing bikes. I manage 117 miles before reaching home a very happy man! happy3

Went to Lavenham for a couple of days recently. Suffolk is like time travel to the 1950's!!!!
There seems to be hardly a major road in the whole county, just a network of perfect lanes. Ideal Morgan location.
