Saw a Car SOS recently where Fuzz renewed an MX5 timing belt. He cut the belt in half along its length and removed half. Then put the new one on and cut the other half of the old one and pushed the new one into place. Clever!

Wish I'd known that trick when I had my V6 Alfas, never did get the timing right frown
