Because I'm going to be a volunteer guide/worker/whatever ....initially a couple of days a month, but once I've retired, every week.

A nicer bunch of aircraft/petrolhead nutters as one could possibly meet.
The jewel in their crown is a Short Sandringham flying boat which is open to visits.

Another rather nice perk is free admission to the Goodwood Revival Meeting looking after the aircraft display. Lord March is a patron...

We must arrange a TM trip when I'm trained up and can act as the tour guide...

What a great thing to do Peter. A couple of years ago I was in stone-throwing distance of that museum (after Goodwood Revival) but because we were traveling with another couple I had to conform to group dynamics and give it a miss. But I was very aware that I was on or near a sacred aviation site. I will get there in the next year or so. This year is just a bit crammed with other important matters. Great that so many morgan owners also get aviation.
