What was the reaction from people at Bicester?

Huge amount of attention and some interesting comments. The usual wood chassis came up a few times as did "what a great restoration". Also a few asked if it was an early Aston...because of the badge...even though the badge has "Morgan" on it! Most had never heard of Morgan. Mind you, most of the visitors at Bicester Village are either Chinese (we provided brochures written in Cantonese) Arabs, Gypsies or people who only read fashion magazines. Interesting differences in culture...many of the Chinese asked permission to photograph the car, the Arabs let their kids clamber all over it whilst the gypsies....all who seem to model themselves on the TV series Big Fat Gypsy Women...were very polite and asked lots of questions...problem was I couldn't understand most of them! Helping the girls into the car with tight skirts was.....interesting.
My first customer was the best....rather nice lady from London whose father had a Morgan when she was a child. Spent ages chatting to me...I got her life story...the fact she was now single..several times...and questions about my marital status....I should have taken the bait doh

Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
