Gulf44 is right - they take the base price(which for a Morgan they tried to take an arbitrary price in my case) then add VAT THEN they add the VRT which they base on CO2 emissions -- a plus4 is 28% - a roadster or Aero is 35%!!!!!!

You can see why I had a long fight over the value of my second-hand car for which I had an invoice from the dealer!!!!! I only reached agreement after threatening legal action!!!
