I had a very pleasant day's sailing on your manor on Wednesday, John. We pottered down from Levington to Felixstowe then up the Stour (very happy to see Holbrook School from the river, as my Grandfather was the Chaplain there in the 1930s), back down the river again, out into the bay for an hour or two, then up the Orwell to Ipswich and back down to Levington. Lovely sunshine, gentle sailing breeze; magic day out. Quite challenging in some ways as the boat in question was a Grand Soleil 43 with a draught of over 7 feet; not ideal for East coast ditch-crawling.
