A 90 km run along the Route des Artisans inland of L'ille Rousse. A curvaceous piece of tarmac if ever there was one but, having heard horror stories of Corsican roads, I'm pleasantly surprised. There was very little traffic, as many cyclists as cars, and a few well behaved bikers. Much of the route is above 1000 metres and there was quite a bit of second and third gear driving.

Highlight was being at eye level with a golden eagle. They suddenly float up beside the car as you run along a ridge and then soar off with 3,000 ft of air beneath them - and presumably lunch in sight. Magnificent.

I've tried to downsize these pics so they show in the post. In one The Navigator is getting her bearings at Col de la Battaglia. We are happy holiday-makers and tomorrow head further south down the coast, past Calvi to Ajaccio. The Morgan continues to entertain the locals.
