Nearly came to grief in one of those whilst passenger in a friends. We were travelling along the A3 when the delivery truck in front braked hard to avoid a dog in the road. Being the basic 541 with drum brakes, a hefty old 4 litre truck engine and heavy bodywork (despite being fibreglass) we were no match for air brakes, and slid gracefully under the trucks tall chassis, stopping as the windscreen cracked in front of my face
