Thank you all thumbs

A little update:
The insurance expert needs some documents from my side and a repair costs estimate from the dealer, upon which he will decide whether or not, the car will be repaired. So there is some hope. sunny

But there is also a downside of this solution. The dealer stated, that, if the insurance should decide, to build up the car, this would be a long term project, (up to one year) depending on the availability of parts space and manpower (it is a very small garage).
He does not really see a sense in a repair, as the costs could easily sum up into the range of a new car.

And me, I‘m really torn apart. On one hand, I would like to have my baby back. Unfortunately this would result in no top-down motoring next year, unless I buy some cheap convertible for the „morganless“ time. sick

On the other hand, I could probably get a new Morgan by springtime. This would then be a +4, as the 3,7 Roadster is too powerfull and also too expensive (at least for me).

Or should I get me a pre-loved 3,0 Roadster …or even a +8 ? …and, of course, repaint it to my favourite colour combimation winky I also considered a Threewheeler. The dealer has one for sale, but 50000€ seems a little bit not worth the price.

I could also buy something completely different… a BMW Z4 or a Mecedes SLK maybe? laugh2 …nooooo, not even in my dreams. rofl There is no way of replacing a Morgan by something of that kind. What I could imagine, a MGB, a TR6 or an Austin Healey 3000. I always loved those cars. thinking

But these are only thoughts, of which I have many in my head, at the moment. Thanks for your patience, for having read all of that smile

Sunny greetings,
Ivo
