My Brooklands fills easy enough to 3/4 then if you take your time it takes another 4-5 l.
Even with the 6 o'clock trick it doesn't help and the vent pipe looks fine..

I must get back into Morgan mode again...I must get back into Morgan mode again.......my last Morgans being 1985 &1977 just had large fillers and no problems getting the nozzle in so to speak.......The Morgan world has moved on since.....and so has fuel necks .........certainly it makes a difference moving the hinge to 6 or 12 (what a idiosyncratic performance). Using a screw driver I note I must have been meeting resistance on metal body of the filler neck at 12 position (thinking that was all there was) and you have to turn the nozzle slightly towards the 6 position ( back on itself) and it seems to penetrate deeper (forgive the euphemism) well at least the screwdriver did.....see how we go........swivelling trap hinge who-ever would have thought of that! .I must get back into Morgan mode again.
