That is the SMART Crossblade. It came without a roof and was ment to be cool and quite expensive in comparison.
It did not sell as it was based on the small 600cc angine with the old gearbox. They were all built by BERTRANDT I think.
Later in the same year the facelift of the Smart came with the much better 700cc engine and the faster gearbox.

So no need to think about the Crossblade.

Most of them were sitting in showrooms waiting for better times.

Fun concept though...
