With a wall to wall blue sky morning following two days of 50 shades of grey sky`s, and that I am contemplating putting the Mog on SORN, now that I have acquired a sporting tin top for the occasional Winter jaunt, it seemed like a reasonable plan to fire the old thing up and head out into the Autumnal scenery as a last run before lay-up. MOT is due soon too..

Yeah well with the tonneau in place, the heater on full bung and thermals doing their best to keep out the chill, off we went, £85 worth of fuel...Jeez I have bought cars for less cash than that.. We headed out on my favourite local road, engaged in a few hops and skips as if it was a beast first let out to grass in Spring, followed by a few roars pops and bangs, also noted signs of rock salt on the road, but there seemed to be grip enough for a little bit of fun...

The sun was rather too bright and low in the sky creating lots of shadows to be wary of, and there were also a few mad cyclists out and about too, thus a bit of extra care required, but all in all one becomes very alive and aware while driving a Morgan on Mornings such as the one I was fortunate enough to enjoy today.. Next on the list, a quick run round the nuts and bolts a squirt of grease here and there, then fingers crossed for the MOT next week.
