Nice little 150 mile trip out up the coast to Elgin and back to see the Moray Motor Museum .... with a detour to visit some artist friends at their studio .... small but fine museum with some unusual and interesting cars .... not just show as they race some of the exhibits regularly at Goodwood and Oulton Park.

Friendly staff happy to chat cars .... well worth a pop in if you're touring the distilleries or coastal villages that abound locally.

My 'take-home' cars would have to be the Bentley, Fraser Nash, V12 Lagonda, but most of all the beautiful '63 Cobra ... the 289 version that looks so much classier than the big bulging 'wheel arches on steroids' 427 that is more popular across the pond (well to my eye at least 🙂)

All in all a cracking day out ... still just a sweatshirt behind the aeroscreens ... thoroughly enjoyable bowling along and ran like a clock ... think we can say the Morgan is past its shake-down stage and ready for anything 🙂

PS ... the only interesting vehicles en-route were a mint Vincent Black Shadow outside a cafe in Cullen and a wave from a nice TR3 near Fochabers (a sort of sand/buff colour with a white hardtop open at the sides ... unusual colour scheme but worked well!)
