That got me thinking. Mine do have perforations inside (hard to photograph), the tailpipes are 42cm long and 7.5cm outside diameter. They stay very clean (in the year since I've had the car I have driven around 2,000 miles, I just wipe over the outside after a day's run). They are very quiet, which is sort of counter-intuitive for a Morgan....[Linked Image]



My outer diameter is the same and the internal not much small as it must only be 1 - 1.5mm thick. It might make exhaust gasses flow quicker, but feel it looks cheap compared to the look of yours. It never gets hot either which surprised me.
