Yes and you get a huge plate full although we dont say dessert we say sweet . One elderly man told me a few years ago when he got a whiff of my lunch Geordie broth . As a young Southern chap up here after the war he started seeing a girl she took him home and her dad was cooking broth . He asked does the want some lad , what is it, the can walk on it with the wellies . He said he ate a dish full does the want some more . Yes please . He said if he had said , no thanks to his broth or I dont like that stuff he would have been told to leave and not allowed to date her and yes tea time is late afternoon.

Butting in Peter I believe I live close to JTL and yes I am visiting my mothers this evening for tea, it consists of a full Roast Dinner and Pudding for Dessert
