I once bought my now ex swmbo a Harley for her birthday and hid it in the inglenook in the hall and covered the opening with birthday paper. She thought she was going to find a small box with pearl earrings behind it, her face was a picture as she'd already found the 2CV covered in ribbons hidden in the wood shed.
